Authority Resources for Educators
The mission of BEST™ Robotics Inc. is to inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science, technology, and math through participation in a sports-like science- and engineering-based robotics competition. To provide robotic activities for the students in Arkansas middle and high schools, the BEST Robotics Grant program has established five regional hubs. These hubs provide training, equipment, and organized competitions to area schools at no cost.
The purpose of this Authority program is to enrich STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education throughout the state of Arkansas . It provides for fellowships to be awarded to school teachers in need of individualized training, supplies and curriculum enhancement assistance.
The Information Technology Career Pathway was created as a guide for students in Arkansas to plan their career pathways from high school into Information Technology (IT) fields. The Arkansas Science and Technology Authority prepared this guide for the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
